Do You Have A Construction Project We Can Help With?
- We have developed a design-build process considering the latest best practices, our work experience and previous customer’s feedback which should offer one of the best customer experiences in the industry at a fair and competitive price to each and every client. We want our customers to feel informed, heard, and cared for every step of the way. This is the process we’ve found to best do this…

1. Write the Vision (and make it plain)
- Fill out this form so we can hear about your desires (link). Then, click here (need link) to schedule a face to face meeting to discuss and put the vision to paper. This first meeting is typically 1-2 hrs so we can hear your vision and take detailed notes on your needs, wants, and ideas. We can usually determine the appropriate approach to take at this time, in consideration of your budget goals and design desires.
-
2. Preliminary Designs & Estimates
- We develop preliminary designs and cost estimates based on the discussion and information gathered from the first step. These designs are presented in the form of sketches, drawings (plans and elevations), and computer renderings. We are able to price various options at this stage, which can help in your decision making. We also provide feasibility studies & master planning, often the first steps to determining which design option is right for you and how we might “phase” a project. All costs here go towards the final construction price.
-
3. Final Selections, Designs, Contract
- At this step we will finalize your plans, selections and final costs for your new custom home. We’ll pull all of this information into a contract that covers everything you will need for a closing. Our team will make sure that you have a comprehensive understanding of the final contract and can help guide you through closing with a bank for the financing if necessary on your new home.
-
4. Permitting
- After closing, we “‘fine tune’ the final design, formally drawing it up with structural notes, dimensions and supporting documentation (energy and structural calculations, window and door schedules, site plans, etc.) required for city or county building permits. We submit the package and follow it through until permits are issued. After permits are issued we break ground and begin the construction process.
-
5. Construction
- The construction phase is extensive and exciting. Showcase uses a program called BuilderTrend to keep open and organized communication during the entire Construction process. We like to involve the owner as much as he or she wishes with this program. See below for more detail. We provide an itemized time schedule for construction, so you know exactly what is happening when.
